Nicholas Tymes was born and raised in Manhattan, New York, where his love of music started to develop at an early age. By the time Nicholas was 14, he knew how to play piano, guitar, violin, drums, flute, sax, and cello. By the time he was 18, he had figured out how to digitally record his first song. By 22, he had his undergraduate degree in Music Technology from NYU and when he was 25, he had his graduate degree in Music Business. His whole life revolved around music, and it was part of the reason why he loved New York so much. The city seemed to live and breathe music, but as he was traveling across the world, he found different types and styles he had never known before. And he had come across musicians he'd never heard of, and vowed to get them the attention they deserved. So by the time Nicholas was 26, he had developed Tymed Records, and he has not looked back since. Despite being in the music business for a short amount of time, Tymed Records is one of the top record companies out there today, representing all styles of music and musicians. Nicholas serves as the main producer for most of his artists, even jamming out with the musicians in the studio due to his vast musical instrument knowledge. His laid-back attitude about the business world is what has made him such a "must know" person in the industry. Tymed Records started with an office in Manhattan, and now has an office in Boston as well as Los Angeles. Nichols splits his time between all three of these places, but primarily calls Manhattan home, where he owns a penthouse apartment above the city lights. Personality wise, Nicholas can come off a bit snobbish, as he's very proud of his career and what he has done to get himself to where he is now. If people talk badly about them, he has a tendency to call them on it, as he feels most people have no right to talk crap about him especially if they have never met him. He has been in high profile relationships, but only one has lasted. He's been People's Most Eligable Bachelor twice, and is proud that he holds that title along George Clooney and Brad Pitt, two people who professionally Nicholas would like to be. His personal life is one that Nicholas tries his hardest to keep hidden, but it just doesn't seem to go that way, considering his "celebrity" is reluctantly rising. Nicholas is extremely stubborn. So stubborn that it has completely ruined almost all of his relationships, except for one. No one can call him Nick minus Olivia and his female secretary. Many believe that he's going to cheat on Olivia, and up until recently, he thought that as well. His biggest weakness is a woman who needs him, needs to be rescued, and if she was beautiful - well that just sweetened the pot. Nicholas met Olivia Danford while they were both in NYU. Their friendship quickly evolved, as they both seemed to be determined to make their dreams come true. She was an aspiring actress, he was an aspiring record producer. While he always had feelings for her, nothing came to fruition due to Nicholas' constant flirting and dating around. But no matter what, Olivia had always been in his life. After one failed engagement, Olivia, who was now a famous actress, stayed by Nicholas' side and helped him through his heartbreak. Eventually it lead to Nicholas finally admitting to his feelings, but of course that wasn't with out difficulties as well: even though he admitted that he was in love with Olivia, he still dated other women. In a way it was like he was testing her. |
